Increasing Yields and Incomes
Improved Land Productivity in the Northen Guinea Savanna Zone (KKM), funded by the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA) from 2012 to 2014, is seeking to increase crop yields by 50 to 100% and incomes up to 100% in Nigeria.
Reducing Poverty
The project focuses on enhancing the livelihoods of smallholder farmers by creating new jobs through Innovation Platforms (IPs). IPs include key players along the agricultural value chain who share knowledge about goods and services to achieve positive social or economic outcomes.
Project Collaborator
Funded by FARA under the Sub-Saharan Africa Challenge Program (SSA-CP)
Implemented by a taskforce of various development, research and private sector organizations.
