Description

Programme(s): Single Market Programme (SMP)
Topic: SMP-COSME-2024-EYEJR-01
Type of action: SMP Grants for Financial Support
Project ID: 101197402

Objective: The EPIC consortium aims to give continuity to the work done by some of its members in E4IC, E4IC II, E4IC System and E4IC System 2, feeding the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Network by taking a step further and putting special focus on sustainable, digital and female entrepreneurship, bringing the programme closer to underrepresented countries and boosting emerging economies. In this project we wanted to incorporate partners who share entrepreneurship as their main business activity and who, with the experience acquired in projects related to sustainable and community entrepreneurship, support for female self-employment and the development of start-ups in the circular economy, help to create new activities that not only attract sustainable and digital entrepreneurs who will benefit from the programme, but also improve their skills. EPIC aims to foster networking and exchange of experiences between entrepreneurs from different SMP countries to address the challenges of business creation, development, market access and internationalisation. Its main objectives, therefore, are to promote the development of technologies and business practices that minimise environmental impact, in particular, to raise awareness of the benefits of the circular economy, and to support the creation of e-enterprises by attracting digital and technology entrepreneurs. In addition, EPIC aims to promote female entrepreneurship, facilitate knowledge exchange on business development challenges, foster strong networks between entrepreneurs from different underrepresented countries and emerging economies. Leveraging the collective experience and established networks of its members, EPIC will foster a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem that supports innovation, sustainability and inclusive growth across the EU. Ultimately, contributing to the EU's strategies regarding the triple transition (sustainable, digital and resilient).
