Objective: Swim Bike and Run for ALL (tri4ALL) promote Paratriathlon, a variant of triathlon for athletes with disabilities, which includes swimming, cycling, and running segments, each adapted to various levels of impairments. It aims to broadcast paratriathlon opportunities for athletes, while facilitating the sharing of best practices among paratriathlon federations in Europe. The long term impact of the project is improving the well-being of people with disabilities by facilitating their inclusion through the sport of Paratriathlon. This will be achieve through increasing awareness of the role of sport in promoting social inclusion, equal opportunities and health-enhancing physical activity as well as enhancing participation in sport, physical activity by athletes with disabilities. The project foresees a preparatory training and awareness-raising activity, the introduction of new people with disabilities to the world of Paratriathlon which will culminate in a European Paratriathlon competition hosted at the Olympic venue in Taranto with 11 Triathlon Federations from Italy (Lead Partner), Poland, Ireland, Hungary, Turkey, Norway, Finland, Malta, Latvia, Czech Republic, and Bulgaria.
