Objective: The project S_COOL - Sport for Children's Optimal Outdoor active and healthy Lifestyle, includes a set of complementary sports and educational-practical activities, which addresses one of the key problems of the present in terms of insufficient and inadequate healthy lifestyle habits among children of primary school age, which ultimately contribute to and lead to development of numerous health, social, and even economic problems in this target group, as well as in the entire society. The main goal of the project is the acquisition and promotion of healthy lifestyle habits in children, through participation in outdoor sports and physical activities and education about healthy lifestyle habits in terms of physical activity, nutrition, use of screens and digital technologies. The central part of the project includes the organization and implementation of 3- day sports and educational event LAVCUP25 for 250 children of primary school age from 13 organizations from 10 countries of the Balkan, Central European and Southern European countries of the project consortium in basketball, volleyball and football. In addition to encouraging sports and competitive spirit through the sports part of the competition, the event will provide educational and practical added value through the implementation of educational and practical workshops on the related topics of healthy lifestyle habits for children. The project also includes the organization and implementation of the Active&Healthy Challenge campaign for children in 13 participating organizations, through which healthy lifestyle habits will be practiced and promoted among children in 4 planned actions.
