Objective: DeCiTeL addresses all 4 objectives of the ERASMUS+ TEACHER ACADEMY Action by choosing a thematic focus in Citizenship Education: 1) It contributes to the improvement of teacher education policies and practice in Europe, building on policy recommendations, competence frameworks and practical instruments developed in a previous KA3 concluded in November 23 and expands its reach to new ERASMUS Countries; 2) it will develop and test innovative forms of physical and virtual mobility to allow an authentic international learning experience to all teachers benefitting from the renewed training supply; 3) It will build develop further collaboration among teacher training providers, working on a multistakeholder transnational governance model, with a strong support of local governments; 4) It will enhance the EU dimension of teacher education by proposing common curriculum elements, learning modules and methodological resources designed and validated through international collaboration. While the main ERASMUS horizontal priority addressed is N.4 Common values, civic engagement and participation, the proposal will affect priority N.1 by putting inclusion and valorisation of diversity at the centre of Citizenship Education, priority 2 by working on the concept of Global Citizenship and Sustainable Development Goals, and priority 3, by addressing the potential and the risks of digital technology at large and technologyenhanced learning in the provision of digital Citizenship Education. The specific objectives of the project are: To create the conditions for a sustainable Teacher Academy Alliance; To develop a framework of teachers competences; To collaboratively develop learning modules and lessons plans; To develop and distribute a toolkit for the creation of Urban Learning Ecosystems; To study and test ways to quickly upscale good practice through existing teachers training networks; To document and systemically evaluate the innovative practice generated in partner schools
