Title: Amplifying Youth Voice in Afterschool

About this grant: This grant to Youthprise seeks to empower young people to design afterschool programs of the future. Youthprise will work with the 50 State Network and afterschool leaders to engage young people in policy, practice and quality initiatives that benefit afterschool programs and the youth they serve. Specifically, the grantee will: 1) provide technical assistance to the 50 State Network on youth leadership, voice and choice; 2) support four states to further embed youth voice initiatives in state afterschool initiatives and infrastructure; and 3) explore youth-led grantmaking efforts throughout the project.
