About this grant: This grant will support the programming and administrative needs of the Latinx Technology and Community Center. The community center provides a variety of cultural and education programs for youth and adults including English as a Second Language and Spanish as a Second Language classes, tutoring and youth programs. The physical presence of the Latinx Technology and Community Center on Flint’s eastside has established the community center as a trusted resource for members of the Latinx community who have educational or resource needs. The Latinx Technology and Community Center works with individuals and families to meet their needs internally or through a strong referral network of organizations including health and human service agencies.
