Description: Development of Uganda’s Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) Accounting Tool

ASSIGNMENT OBJECTIVE:
The main objective of this assignment is to develop and operate an NDC accounting tool/system for the CCD, Ministry of Water and Environment that consolidates quantitative information on Uganda’s GHG inventory, NDC, and Article 6 transactions into a single dashboard. This tool will enable tracking of NDC achievement, assessment of the impacts of mitigation policies and measures, and evaluation of the effects of Article 6 transactions on Uganda’s NDC baseline. Additionally, the NDC accounting system will facilitate the systematic collection of information required for the NDC’s common tabular format and the structured summary section of the Biennial Transparency Report (BTR).

PROPOSED ACTIVITIES:
Under the scope of this project the selected consulting firm shall complete the following key activities:
1. Design, information collation and analysis
2. Development of an NDC Accounting Tool/Systems
3. Support for Capacity Building
