Project Title : 49,7 MW Jhimpir wind project, Pakistan

Description of the project:

JHIMPIR POWER is a 49.7 MW wind farm, producing green and sustainable energy for Pakistan. The project was conceived in 2012 and achieved commercial operation in March 2018. Based on state of the art and highly efficient wind turbine technology, JPL is designed to inject approximately 200 GWh into the national grid every year. JPL contributes to the energy security of Pakistan and helps reduce the gap between supply and demand of electricity in the country. JPL complies with the highest standards for safety and environment and is funded by renowned national and international investors and financial institutions.
