The grantee is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting, advancing, and developing nonfiction content about the Pacific Islander experience that enhances recognition of and appreciation for Pacific Islander history, culture, and society. This X-Grant supports it to conduct research on the representation of Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islanders in media; to support the travel and participation of filmmakers in the European Film Market in Berlin; and to support convening expenses for the Pasifika Media Makers Summit in Honolulu, Hawai’i.
