Project ID: 101234533

Objective:

IPPF EN adopts a multi-stakeholder, multi-level approach to advance and protect gender equality, women’s rights, and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) contributing to a more equal and equitable Europe for people of all gender identities. Within this Framework Partnership Agreement period, we aim to challenge harmful gender norms; improve access to SRHR, care, education, and awareness; strengthen and build a more resilient ecosystem of civic action and engagement; and advance EU and Member State laws and policies on SRHR and gender equality. We will create spaces and foster engagement across diverse stakeholders, intentionally working to bridge divides, reduce polarisation, and enable collective action. Acting as an expert partner to policymakers and decision-makers in the EU and Member States, we will provide evidence and expertise to support the development of laws and policies on gender equality and SRHR. A key focus will be empowering young people, particularly those from marginalised communities, by equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and platforms to lead youth-driven, intergenerational, and cross-sectoral initiatives. The capacity of IPPF Member Associations and Collaborative Partners will be reinforced to sustain well-managed and effective organisations. These partners, along with our broader network, will be equipped with strategies to counter the anti-gender movement and operate safely and effectively in hostile environments. Our expertise in strategic communications will amplify the strategies and actions derived from this work, ensuring broader impact across the EU. By working at the national level with Member Associations and Collaborative Partners, as well as at the regional level with multiple stakeholders, we enable a wide range of actors to learn from and support one another.
