Description

The overall objective of the project was to provide capacity building support to the Egyptian Electric Utility and Consumer Protection Agency (EEUCPRA) in its efforts to reform the electricity market and to exercise its mandated functions, taking into account international best practices in the regulation of the electricity sector.

KANTOR identified gaps in key areas such as legislation, operations, regulation, and the role of EEUCPRA and other key shareholders.
