Description

The Kenya Climate Innovation Centre (CIC) is a new initiative designed by the World Bank's infoDev programme and supported by the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and the Danish International Development Agency (Danida). As the first in the global network of CICs supported by infoDev's Climate Technology Programme, the Kenya CIC is a high-visibility organisation that attracts attention from international organisations, regional bodies, governments, investors, multi-national corporations, and others. The initiative provides services and financing to Kenyan entrepreneurs and small- to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to develop and implement innovative climate change mitigation and adaptation solutions that meet local needs and support the Kenya Government's Greening Kenya and Vision 2030 initiatives.

A global consortium is delivering on the first CIC. LTS' role is to develop and support a comprehensive M&E system to track and measure the performance of the CIC, including an overall M&E strategy and implementation processes.
