Project: Project Neptune Seychelles Water & Sanitation Project

Contract Description: Plant and Design-Build for Refurbishment of Hermitage and Cascade Water Treatment Plants
This contract includes mechanical, electrical and civil works for refurbishing the water treatment facilities at Hermitage WTP with production capacity of 14,000 m3/day and Cascade WTP with production capacity of 7,000 m3/day. The raw water source of Hermitage WTP is surface water from the reservoirs at La Gogue Dam and Rochon Dam. The raw water source of Cascade WTP is surface water from the reservoir at Cascade Dam and also surface water from other small river barges. Refurbishment of each WTP includes works and treatment processes, from inlet to outlet, including coagulation, flocculation, clarification, rapid sand filtration, disinfection, sludge processing, site works and building services. The refurbishment will be contracted according to the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) Conditions of Contract for Plant and Design-Build, First Edition 1999.
