Description

The TA will support the preparation, organization and follow-up to the EC-Mexico Social Cohesion Policy Dialogues, taking place in the framework of six to eight high-level events in Mexico. Particular emphasis will be put on facilitating high-level participation of civil servants of EU Member States' public institutions, European academics and specialized civil society entities in those events. The TA will contribute to ensure a comprehensive exchange of best practices at a policy making and implementation level between Mexican and European institutions working in specific areas of interest that have been defined in cooperation with Mexican partner institutions and include:

Public Health Sector: 1. Creation and financing of a single (universal) health system; 2. Systems for planning, quality control standards, evaluation, transparency; 3. Management and rationalisation of health services and infrastructure ("master plans"); 4. Normalisation, storage and coordinated purchase of medicines, medical supplies and equipment; 5. Capacity building, staff training

Social Security Sector: 1. Reform of pension systems; 2. Integrated social security systems; 3. Models of financing (in particular, of pension systems)

Tax administration: 1. Efficiency of tax collection systems; 2. Organisational and institutional aspects of tax administration;
