Description

Project title: Mainstreaming gender at the School of Government and Public Policy of the University of Antioquia

Project number: NICHE-COL-111

Requesting Organisation: This project has been developed by the School of Government and Public Policy at the University of Antioquia (UDEA)

Project description:
This project aims to strengthen the School of Government and Public Policy through staff training, by mainstreaming gender into curricula and by putting gender on the agenda as an institutional issue.
The School of Government and Public Policy currently does not have a gender mainstreaming policy and it acknowledges that this is an institutional weakness.
The lack of qualified teaching staff hampers the transfer of knowledge and skill development among female trainees. It also slows down the process of raising gender awareness among male trainees.
