Technical Assistance to the NAO for the 10th EDF programmes

To provide technical assistance to the Office of the National Authorizing Officer (NAO) in the Planning Institute of Jamaica, with secondment to the Ministry of Finance and the Public Service (or as appropriate to the Office of the Prime Minister).

The technical assistance team will provide advisory services to the NAO and facilitate an informed approach to the implementation of the development cooperation and trade programmes between the EC and the Government of Jamaica. The technical assistance team will also be expected to assist the NAO in the management of the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programmes and projects funded by the European Commission in Jamaica, particularly as regards macroeconomic and public finance management aspects. A strong background in economics and public finance is required. The contract is for a period of 24 months.
