Programme: Humanitarian Aid following Floods
Project objective:
Following the catastrophic floods in the municipality of Sečanj in May 2005 the damages on the buildings of the Special Hospital for Pulmonary Diseases “Dr Vasa Savić” in Jaša Tomić put them out of function. As an aid to the affected area the Government of Switzerland sent a donation intended for rehabilitation of the hospital buildings in the value of 100.000 EURO. Project objective was repairing of the building and restoring normal work regime in the hospital.
Activities:
- Complete reconstruction of the kitchen building
- Repair of the patients’ ward
