ADRA - Adventist Development and Relief Agency (India)

ADRA India has been implementing humanitarian projects to help the most vulnerable in India for more than 20 years since 1987. With formal registration in 1992, it has implemented more than 140 projects worth more than 30 Million USD, and reached over 22 million people.

Our organization is part of a global network of independent humanitarian organizations established in 1984 by the Seventh-Day Adventist Church now with presence in 125 countries. ADRA provides individual and community development and disaster relief without regard to political or religious association, age, gender, or ethnicity.In India, the gap between the rich and the poor is maybe more prevalent here than anywhere else in the world. It is true that India is a growing economic power, however we cannot hide from knowing that more than two thirds of India’s 1.2 billion people, live close-to or below the poverty line.
