Consorzio Armatori Ferroviari S.C.p.A. (CAF SCpA)

Consorzio Armatori Ferroviari was founded in 2001 in shape of consortium of Societies - Società Consortile per Azioni (S.C.p.A.) -Permanent Consortium - in order to create a key figure, in terms of sinergy and competition, in the market of the railway work.

The Companies are:

• FERSALENTO S.r.l. / Lecce (ITALY)
• GLOBALFER S.p.A. / Caserta (ITALY)
• FRANCESCO VENTURA COSTRUZIONI FERROVIARIE S.r.l. / Roma (ITALY)

The main activities of each company and then by the Consortium are:

• railway renewal;

• maintenance railway;

• railway new construction and renewal;

• replacing existing ballast and replenishing with fresh gravel, ballast levelling, tamping and profiling;

• quays regulation platform;

• regulation of internal stresses on the track for the composition of long welded rail;

• supply of materials necessary for the renewal of the railway line.
