The Association for the Prevention and Handling of Violence in the Family (SPAVO) was formally registered as a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) in 1990. Our aim is to provide support to people who experience domestic violence. All of our services are free: 1440 helpline for domestic violence; shelter for female victims and their children;one-to-one counselling sessions;group therapeutic programme;prevention-awareness campaigns etc seminars and informative events;116000 hotline for missing children; 116111 helpline for support of children and adolescents.
