ABSD - AB Surveying and Development

In 1992, Geosystems Surveying Development the predecessor of the AB Surveying and Development was organized by five young Geodetic Engineers who graduated from the University of the Philippines. One of them is the founder of AB Surveying and Development.

Geosystems Surveying and Development offered its services to both the public and private sectors. One of its most notable projects were the detailed topographic surveys of   DEMCOR LRTA’s LRT 2and Trans-Asia’s Pantabangan Dam Extension. In 1995, due to rebranding, Prime Surveying was established and focused mainly in servicing the private sector.

However, in 1999, AB Surveying and Development evolved into single proprietor surveying firm. Since then, it has handled numerous, big-ticket projects both in the public and private sectors.   ABSD’s clients in the private sector are the Ayala Land, Inc. , Makati Development Corp., Masterpiece Asia Inc., Palmera Homes Inc., Crown Asia Properties Inc., Camella Homes Inc., and LPHI to name a few.

In early 2016 ABSD acquired Riegl vux-1 lidar system. This LiDAR system is ideal for use in remote, difficult or dangerous survey sites. It is  mounted on a helicopter (Airborne Laser Scanner) for road surveys, feasibility studies, detailed designs and other large scale topographic surveys.

Today, AB Surveying and Development is the pioneering surveying firm in the Philippines offering LiDAR mapping services.
