About

DOT Rwanda is an affiliate of Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT)  , Headquartered in Ottawa, Canada.  A youth-led movement of daring social innovators who have the tools, knowledge, and networks to create opportunities and transform their own communities. DOT supports young women and men to become innovators and leaders, and to create and apply digital solutions that have positive impact and foster inclusive growth in their communities.

Established in 2010, DOT Rwanda has long- standing operations and networks of local and international partners that extend across diverse communities in urban and rural settings.  Working with the government, private sector, donors, and community-based organizations, DOT Rwanda champions youth and women’s leadership, skills, and access to technology in locally relevant ways - and, importantly, involves youth and women themselves in co-creation of the programs and solutions developed to address their needs. The result is a network of youth and women who are equipped with the digital and soft skills needed to navigate multiple pathways in order to address their daily challenges, whether by embarking on new career paths, participating in civic engagement, or designing their own solutions.
