Medical Non Governmental Organization (NGO), Médecins du Monde Switzerland is working on the ground to restore sustainable access to health for excluded people in Switzerland and abroad. The headquarters of the organization is in Neuchâtel, an office is located in Geneva. Founded in 1993, Médecins du Monde Switzerland is one of the 16 associations of the international network of Médecins du Monde.

Médecins du Monde Switzerland is part of an international context, favoring a programmatic approach in connection with Swiss civil society. It develops a particular conceptual and operational framework for contexts in chronic crisis and / or conflict, managing the emergency when it presents itself but favoring long-term development strategies. It favors a direct approach while articulating these closely with local partners, guarantors of sustainability and makes the strategic choice to focus its maternal and child health programs for excluded populations.
