Family Planning Association of India (FPAI)

Family Planning Association of India (FPA India) has over five decades of experience in the field of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR). It has helped millions of people living in rural and urban areas in fulfilling their aspirations to get a better quality of life. Established in 1949, FPA India has been recognised as India’s leading and largest SRH organisation. It provides information on sexuality education and family life, along with a wide range of services in SRHR including family planning, bringing health and happiness to milions.

To provide this service we depend upon ordinary citizens whose voluntary commitment helps us advocate for access to SRH service provision and information related to contraception, safe abortions, HIV/AIDS and sexuality education to poor, marginalised and vulnerable communities in India, including the youth population. This is a goal we continue to strive towards achieving with 65 years of experience under our belt.
