SODNET is a non governmental organization based in Kenya that strengthens capability of citizens, government & civil society in the strategic use of technology.
SODNET is an indigenous organization created by workers in Kenya as a backup center for reflection and action of local groups on the causes and consequences of poverty and the loss of power by large sectors of the communities. Its objective is to facilitate strategic and efficient alliances among interested persons and social movements to exert influence in the drafting of policies on social development issues, in particular in the management of resources, globalization and information.
