Cafès Gener

Cafès Gener was born in the neighborhood of 1950, as in Ton Viñas, owner of the establishment Café Colón de Cardona, showed the secrets of turning coffee to Josep, "el Bonany", born in the peasantry near the village.

That fact aroused Josep's curiosity unusual for this product and seeing his possibilities in the market, he began to explore this world. A wise, friendly and generous character, without leaving his occupations to the livestock sector, a name would soon be made in the region, not without much work and effort helped at all times, of course, by his wife La Fina.

An eminently familiar company, now the third generation is already working.
His philosophy has always been that of a slow but steady growth and the passion for offering good quality coffees.

In 2000, there was a significant qualitative leap in the expansion of facilities, up to that time located in the walls of Cardona, when creating a new plant in the industrial estate, renovating and modernizing the whole process Storage, roasting and coffee packaging.
