Globally Cool BV (www.globallycool.nl) is an independent consultancy firm in international trade development, with key services in export promotion, capacity building, online marketing, branding and promotion and sector strategy development. Globally Cool B.V. was established in 1999 and is based in the Netherlands. In over 25 years, we have trained and coached thousands of (women) entrepreneurs in over 50 emerging markets, as well as developed and implemented several branding and promotion strategies all around the globe. 

We offer the following services, divided in 3 pillars:  

• Consultancy (market intelligence, strategy development, branding & promotion, digital marketing)
• Connecting (trade intelligence portals, trade fairs and missions, business matching)
• Coaching (capacity building, Globally Cool Academy)

We work for international development organizations such as the World Bank Group, United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), International Trade Centre (ITC), European Union as well as Dutch, German, Swiss and USA Development Cooperations (GIZ, IPD, CBI, SIPPO, SECO, USAID) and the private sector in emerging markets.

Globally Cool is organised as follows:

• A management team with 3 owners/senior consultants. Offering you 20+ years of experience in international trade promotion, strategy development, capacity building, market research as well as training & coaching in over 50 emerging markets.
• A market research department of 6 researchers engaged in consultancy, training and coaching, supporting companies or business support organisations to build their capacity in market intelligence and export promotion.
• A consultancy, training and coaching department with 6 consultants, providing services around the globe including advisory and B2B matchmaking.
• A marketing, communication and web development department of 4 professionals, providing operational marketing support and execute promotion campaigns (online and offline) for our international clients.
• A wide and up to date network of EU buyers (importers, agents, associations, producers, press) across a range of sectors (consumer products, ingredients, agribusiness, fisheries, services) as well as a network of associate consultants in Asia, Latin America, Africa and Europe.

In recently implemented projects, one of the important areas of focus is the incorporation of gender equality, social inclusion and environmental sustainability.  This includes elements such as:

• Integration of Corporate Social Responsibility (CRS) in business practices including social, environmental, ethical elements into the business strategy and operations.
• Supporting production, sales and exports of women and/or minority led businesses. Empowering women and minority groups by enabling them to further develop their skills and knowledge related to training subjects such as export readiness, digital marketing and e-commerce

Our strenghts lie in delivering and implementing our projects in a sustainable way. We strive to build capacity for organisations, entrepreneurs ministries, chambers of commerce etc. with the main objective to fully handover the management of the project, website, platform, training curriculum and create a (financial) sustainability for the beneficiary.
