Department of Public Works and Highways of Philippines (DPWH)

The Department of Public Works and Highways is the Philippine government's executive branch responsible for infrastructure facility planning, design, construction and maintenance, particularly national roads, flood controls and water resource development systems. Its mission is to provide and manage quality infrastructure facilities and services responsive to the needs of the Filipino people in the pursuit of national development objectives.

The Ministry is entrusted with tasks such as developing and implementing effective codes, standards and reasonable guidelines to ensure the safety of all public and private structures. It also undertakes the supervision of all public work constructions motivated by its core values of integrity, professionalism, excellence and teamwork.
