The Agency leads the legal defense of the State articulating the Defense Cycle agents by means of an integrated, permanent and effective management; respecting constitutional rights and principles, which allows the optimization of public funding in benefit of all Colombians.

For the year 2018, the Agency will have achieved a continuous decrease in the number of convictions against the State as well as positive changes in litigious culture due to an effective public legal management.

The strategic approach is based on the innovation of the legal defense of the State by applying the "Defense Cycle" concept, which is based on prevention policies, legal business intelligence and knowledge generation.
