Idrostudi is a SME founded in 2002 by highly skilled hydraulic and environmental engineers with the aim of increasing the value of the expertise and the technologies developed in the academia and transfering them to the open market.

Nowadays, our enterprise provides multidisciplinary advice and services to public institutions, governmental authorities, integrated urban water management multi-utility companies, and private companies in the fields of environmental science, hydraulic and environmental engineering.

Idrostudi’s activities in the hydraulic and environmental engineering sector include:
- designing, modelling, and optimizing pipe networks, i.e. water supply, sewerage, and gas transport networks;
- NRW, DMAs, leakage management and reduction;
- planning and execution of hydraulic monitoring campaigns;
- surveying and identification of hydraulic systems;
- infiltration and inflow monitoring campaigns;
- river, marine, and environmental engineering, also adopting soil bioengineering techniques;
- hydrological analyses;
- study of flooding phenomena and river stream capacity (e.g. flood risk assessment);
- physical modelling of interaction between water bodies and hydraulic structures;
- 1D, 2D and 3D numerical modelling of water bodies and other natural phenomena;
- hydraulic compatibility assessments for railway and road design.
