Banco Nacional de Obras y Servicios Publicos (Banobras) is a public financial institution founded in 1933 in Mexico. Its main task is to finance works for the creation of public services. 

Banobras, as a development bank, aims to finance or refinance projects that are directly or indirectly related to public or private investments in infrastructure and public services, as well as to improve the institutional strength of the federal, state and municipal governments with the purpose of contributing to the sustainable development of Mexico. Banobras’s vision is to be recognized as an institution with financial strength, a benchmark in matters of inclusion, technical assistance and access to finance to create high social impact infrastructure and public services that help to bridge the gap and develop Mexico. Banobras has a wide catalog of products and programs in which it has a proven track record of providing financial services, technical assistance and promoting public and private investment such as: products for states and municipalities (simple credit, Banobras-FAIS Program, financial guarantees, etc.), project financing products (credit, co-financing and long-term syndicated loans, Infrastructure Financing Program through Financial Intermediaries, etc.), infrastructure promotion (project structuring, Mexico Project Platform) and the National Infrastructure Fund (reimbursable and non-reimbursable support funds, sectoral programs).
