IRST AID
Training citizens to provide first aid is a traditional activity carried out by the Red Cross of the Federation of BiH in order to prepare as many people as possible to provide first aid in unwanted situations in everyday life and in case of disasters.

By training in first aid, the Red Cross wants to encourage people to behave responsibly in order to prevent accidents and injuries, contribute to community safety and empower individuals and entire communities to more easily overcome the harmful effects of accidents and diseases.

Training for first aid is carried out by the FBiH Red Cross through Red Cross cities and municipalities, in accordance with the Law on the Red Cross / Cross of the Federation of BiH (Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH, No. 28/06), or public authorities defined in Article 9, item 9 and 10 of the FBiH Law on the Red Cross.

VOLUNTARY BLOOD DONATION
The Red Cross of the Federation of BiH, in accordance with public authorities under the Law on the Red Cross and the Law on Blood and Blood Ingredients, traditionally in cooperation with the Institute and Transfusiology Services at the federal and cantonal levels, and in cooperation with hospitals and health centers. the need for blood, brought by the federal minister, organizes actions of voluntary blood donation.

The promotion and popularization of voluntary, not targeted, donation is one of the basic tasks of ensuring sufficient blood supply. Every year, as a symbolic thank you, the FBiH Red Cross awards awards to multiple voluntary blood donors.
 

PREPARATION AND RESPONSE TO NATURAL AND OTHER DISASTERS
The Program for Preparation and Response to Natural and Other Disasters deals with capacity building within the Red Cross (staff training and equipment) in order for the Red Cross to be able to respond to natural and other disasters within its mandate.

The Red Cross of the Federation of BiH in the system of protection and rescue of people and material goods in case of natural and other disasters implements activities based on legal provisions and in accordance with its mission and vision.

The Red Cross Protection and Rescue Service of the Federation of BiH consists of the Service Management (Professional Service of the FBiH Central Committee) and 10 cantonal / county teams of cantonal Red Cross organizations. Protection and rescue services have also been established in some cities / municipalities, which have formed competent civil protection services, and there are also multi-purpose field units and teams.
