One Heart Worldwide (Nepal)

The mission of One Heart Worldwide is to save the lives and promote the well-being of mothers and their newborns in underserved areas of rural Nepal and beyond. They achieve this through locally-led health system strengthening to provide equitable access to quality care for all mothers and newborns.

Improved access to quality MNH services by upgrading 472 birthing centers and training 500 Skilled Birth Attendants, 30,000 local partners, and 6,000 healthcare providers to achieve 90% more deliveries by a Skilled Birth Attendant, 68% less maternal deaths, and a 39% decrease in neonatal mortality.
