The Ministry of Climate Change Adaptation, Meteorology and Geo-Hazards, Energy, Environment and National Disaster Management is the youngest Ministry in the Vanuatu Government.
Its creation in 2014 was for the purpose of strategically aligning Departments responsible for the response to natural disasters and sustainable development of the environment.
This Ministry comprises of five departments:
- Department of Climate Change
- Department of Meteorology & Geo-Hazards
- Department of Energy
- Department of Environmental Protection & Conservation
- Department of National Disaster Management
