Youth Empowerment for Peace and Security

Youth Empowerment for Peace and Security (YEPS) a Non-governmental, Non-profit making organization in Nigeria that has taken it upon itself to educate the youth about the challenges of youth unemployment and attendant risk of insecurity it poses to the development of any nation. Youth Empowerment for Peace and Security was established in May 2005 as a peace building organization in Nigeria. Our term of reference is Sustainable Development Goal SDG 17 which emphasis preventive peace building, nonviolence and restorative social justice. Our work embraces related goals which address poverty, zero hunger, insecurity, health and well-being, tackle unemployment, gender equality, quality education, provision of water and climate action as a means to achieving sustainable Peace.
