NRFA - National Road Fund Agency, Zambia

NRFA - National Road Fund Agency, Zambia  plays a fiduciary oversight on all Road Sector finances. It traces its origins from the National Roads Board (NRB). Prior to the establishment of the NRFA, the NRB played the role of a funding Agency established under Statutory Instrument No. 42 of 1994 and funded programmes from Government Departments. These were Roads Department under the then Ministry of Works and Supply and the Department of Infrastructure and Support Services under the Ministry of Local Government and Housing which played the role of implementing agencies.
