Production Development Corporation (CORFO) (full name in Spanish: Corporación de Fomento de la Producción de Chile) is a Chilean governmental organization that was founded in 1939, by President Pedro Aguirre Cerda, to promote economic growth in Chile.
CORFO is a public-sector organization dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship, innovation and growth in Chile, using tools and instruments compatible with the central framework of a social market economy, creating the conditions necessary to build a society of opportunity.
