Guilin University of Aerospace Technology

Founded in 1979 , Guilin Institute of Aerospace Industry was once affiliated to the Seventh Ministry of Machinery Industry, the Ministry of Aerospace Industry, the Ministry of Aerospace Industry, and China Aerospace Industry Corporation. In April 1999 , the school was transferred to the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and implemented a management system of "co-construction by the central government and local governments, with local management as the mainstay". The school was upgraded to an undergraduate institution in 2012 , and was added as a bachelor's degree authorization unit in December 2015 . There are 19,634 full-time students , including 17,993 undergraduates.
