Deaconess Foundation (USA)

The Deaconess Foundation, a United Church of Christ organization, is a grant-making institution that empowers children via philanthropy, advocacy and campaigning for racial justice and public policy reform. Since 1998, Deaconess has contributed more than US$85 million to promote the health of the St. Louis community with its footprint encompasses the Missouri counties of St. Louis City, Jefferson, St. Charles and Franklin as well as Madison, St. Clair and Monroe in Illinois. The Deaconess Foundation envisions a society that considers children's health and well-being and prioritizes the most vulnerable.
