United Nations Department of Safety and Security (Ukraine)

The Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS) in Ukraine is responsible for providing leadership, operational support and oversight of the security management system as well as ensuring maximum security for staff and eligible dependents and enabling the safest and most efficient conduct of the United Nations System programs and activities. The main aims of UNDSS activities in Ukraine are to develop and maintain a professional and effective safety and security workforce, build a strengthened security system, support the UN’s peace, humanitarian, development, and human rights operations among many others.
