Our activities began in 1984. In the first stage, we privileged supporting families to have access to drinking water and sewerage, schools to improve infrastructure, and communities to ensure the sustainability of the changes. In a second phase, development projects were planned and implemented jointly with families and communities. ChildFund Ecuador was recognized among the 10 NGOs that have made the most disbursements to create long-term solutions with local capacity building. Today, together with our local partners - duly accredited community-based organizations - we promote: optimal development at every stage of life; protection against abuse, neglect, exploitation and violence; promoting rights; natural disaster preparedness; And, we respond to humanitarian emergencies.
