ChildFund has worked as an agent of social change in Guatemala since 1964, seeking to empower communities living in poverty, especially in rural and indigenous populations, to make decisions that improve the well-being of babies, children, adolescents, and youth. Sustained fulfillment of children's rights is at the core of our actions, hand in hand with a commitment to gender equality and cultural diversity. 

ChildFund programs and projects in Guatemala promote broad participation in an effort to find new and effective ways to address the significant challenges facing children and adolescents living in poverty.
