PASOS's primary emphasis is on assisting the underprivileged in their struggle for a fair life and dignity. The main elements of its goal are environmental stabilization, food security, and community support for self-governance. Its primary fields of focus include gender equality, promotion of human rights, democracy, conflict resolution, and peacemaking in society, child safety, safeguarding child rights, handling of natural resources, and livelihood security.
