MIHE - Military Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology

Military Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology K. Kaczkowski is a research institute unique on a national and country scale prepared in terms of content, staff and organization to conduct research, prevention, training and service activities for the Ministry of National Defense and other state institutions in the field of health effects and ways of preventing diseases caused by MASSAGE DEFENSE:

• biological
• chemical
• radiological
• nuclear

as well as non-ionizing radiation.

The Institute is run in accordance with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization's recommendations and standards. Thanks to close cooperation with members of NATO and the European Union, the Institute co-creates an international system of counteracting weapons of mass destruction. In particular, WIHE is a recognized research and opinion-forming center in the field of counteracting the effects of biological weapons.
