The State Fund for Protection and Assistance of (statutory) Victims of Human Trafficking is a Legal Entity of Public Law (LEPL), which is established according to the Law of Georgia on Combating Human Trafficking.
The aims of the Fund are:
- Promoting the implementation of state policy for the protection and assistance of victims of human trafficking;
- Payment of compensations to victims and persons affected by human trafficking, and their protection, assistance and rehabilitation.
- Protection, support and rehabilitation of victims, of affected by domestic violence;
- Providing Crisis Center services to the alleged victims of domestic violence;
- Creating decent living conditions for persons with disabilities, older persons and children without parental care;
- Rehabilitation and support of victims / affected by sexual abuse.
