South Saskatchewan Community Foundation

Founded in 1969, the Foundation invests for the long-term with legacy (endowment) Funds that focus on long-term impact in our community. In addition to distributing grants to worthy causes throughout the year, we pool many visionary Saskatchewan citizens and organizations’ donations – investing them together for a higher return. This allows donors to see their donations grant out to charities not just once, but year after year. It provides sustainable funding to the charitable sector for generations to come.

Saskatoon Community Foundation is a philanthropic organization dedicated to strengthening the quality of life in Saskatoon by stewarding charitable resources and supporting initiatives that reflect community priorities. Through long-term endowment building, strategic grantmaking, and collaborative leadership, the foundation works to create an inclusive, vibrant, and resilient city where all residents have opportunities to thrive.

Its support spans areas such as community development, health and wellness, social services, education, arts and culture, the environment, and programs that promote equity and belonging.
