Light for the World (Svetlo Pro Svet)

Light for the World is a non-governmental organization that focuses on treating blindness, improving the quality of life and advocating for people with disabilities in the least developed parts of the world, especially in Africa.

Light for the World was founded in the Czech Republic in August 2007 as a sister organization of the originally Austrian company Licht für die Welt , which has been operating successfully since 1988. At present, in addition to the Czech Republic and Austria, the international organization Light for the World also operates in Germany and Switzerland. Belgium, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the United States.
