About

Agricultural Extension and Training Agency is a public administrative establishment placed under the authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources. It oversees the implementation of programs relating to economic and social development plans, mainly in terms of training and extension.Thus, in the field of agricultural and fishing vocational training, AVFA is responsible for developing and monitoring programs and all activities related to initial and continuing training.The AVFA is also responsible for the execution and monitoring of programs to upgrade training institutions to meet the needs of the profession and the demand of the labor market.In terms of extension, the AVFA is responsible for supporting field extension programs developed by the regional agricultural development commissions with the aim of improving the level of skills and know-how of extension workers by the organization. workshops on programming, monitoring and evaluation systems as well as the holding of national pilot information days.In addition, the AVFA is responsible for developing mass popularization materials (audiovisual materials, documentaries, written materials, etc.)
