TDK-Lambda UK was established in London England in 1959 as Coutant Electronics and acquired by TDK in 2005.

Today TDK-Lambda UK is Britain’s largest manufacturer and designer of standard and configurable AC-DC and DC-DC power supplies. Headquartered in Ilfracombe Devon, with a Technology Centre in Bristol, we employ approximately 300 people in the UK. Certifications include ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 13485 (Medical devices - Quality management systems).

TDK-Lambda UK is a trusted supplier to many leading OEMs in the industrial, medical and test / measurement market segments. We provide innovative, reliable AC-DC power supplies, DC-DC converters, Programmable (Laboratory) power supplies and EMC/EMI filters to the UK market. Worldwide Sales and Service being handled through our network of TDK-Lambda offices and authorised distributors.
